Already a competitive saddle seat rider, Diane and her husband Nat purchased their first western horse, STLA C Im Fondau, who has gone on to win 19 national championships and reserve championships. Shortly after “Koda” was purchased, the Franklins bought the young stallion Karmel El Jullyen V, who has since gone on to win 10 national and reserve national championships. Under the expert guidance of Greg Harris and Danielle Stock, of Harris Show Horses, Franklin Farm LLC has become a force in today’s western pleasure divisions.
With their western program already a success, the Franklins partnered with Joel and Ashton Kiesner of Kiesner Training, and made the purchase of the spectacular young stallion KW Micah. Already a Reserve National Champion, Micah has since gone on to win an additional three national championships under the ownership of Franklin Farm LLC and as of 2022, is the current reigning National Champion in both Open and Amateur English Pleasure. The addition of KW Micah and their partnership with Kiesner Training has taken their success in the saddle seat division to new heights.
Now located in beautiful Collinsville, Texas and with the backing of their two stellar teams of trainers, Franklin Farm LLC has started to focus heavily on their breeding program. Their herd of world class stallions and mares are all passing on their beauty, athleticism and trainability, which has given them a beautiful group of young prospects. Their first foals are just beginning to hit the ring, with many more to follow. They have curated a collection of incredibly well bred mares that cross brilliantly with their own stallions, but also with some of the best producing stallions today. The Franklins want to ensure that new bloodlines are always infused into their foundational bloodlines, so that they keep producing top saddle seat and western pleasure horses for years to come. At Franklin Farm LLC, breeding quality, trainability, athleticism and beauty is always the goal. The journey thus far has been wonderful, and Franklin Farm LLC is excited to be moving into an even brighter future that they cant wait to share with the Arabian horse industry!
